Medication recommended by hospitals

If you have a hospital letter that recommends new medication, a change in medication or if you have been seen at a hospital and they are sending your GP a request for a prescription, then you may have to wait up to 14 days for your new medication to be prepared.

If the hospital requires you to change your medication immediately, then you will be issued with medication by the hospital until we are able to provide the required medication.
